Privacy & your browser

Cookie policy

Last updated: October 17, 2026

This policy explains how Greenlight Advisory LLC, the operator of StudyIntel, uses cookies and similar browser storage on studyintel.io, including the StudyIntel Network and its account pages.

You choose whether StudyIntel remembers your Radar preferences and loads Google Fonts. Optional choices are off until you accept them. We do not currently use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels or third-party visitor-analytics scripts.

The cookie banner lets you accept all, reject optional features or select individual preferences. Essential sign-in and consent storage remain available. Use Cookie settings at the bottom of any page to change your decision.

Cookies and similar technologies

A cookie is a small value saved by your browser and sent with relevant requests to a website. Local storage also saves information in your browser, but it is read by the site's software rather than automatically attached to every request. Local storage normally remains until the site or your browser removes it; closing a tab does not necessarily clear it.

Your browser may also cache downloaded pages, fonts and software to load them faster next time. A cache is different from a tracking cookie.

What StudyIntel stores

The entries below are stored for StudyIntel in your browser. Sign-in storage supports the account service you request. Radar preferences are saved only when you allow “Remember my preferences”; they are not advertising identifiers.

Cookies and local storage used by the current site
NameTypePurposeHow long it stays
si-cookie-consentEssential local storageRemembers your consent choices, the policy version and the time of your decision.Valid for 180 days. After that, optional features stay off and we ask again when you use the site. The stored record is replaced by your next decision or removed when you clear site data.
nf_jwtSign-in cookieUsed by Netlify Identity during sign-in to recognize an authenticated session. The cookie's expiry is set by the sign-in flow. Its access token normally expires after one hour and can be refreshed; token expiry and cookie removal are different.
gotrue.userSign-in local storageRemembers your Netlify Identity account session, including the tokens needed to maintain sign-in.Until you sign out or clear site data. The tokens it contains can expire or be revoked separately.
si-radar-statesOptional local storageRemembers the US states you select in Radar, with your permission.Removed when you reject or withdraw permission, or when the site detects that your consent has expired. You can also clear it in your browser.
si-radar-typesOptional local storageRemembers the signal types you select in Radar, with your permission.Removed when you reject or withdraw permission, or when the site detects that your consent has expired. You can also clear it in your browser.
si-radar-viewOptional local storageRemembers your Radar display mode, with your permission.Removed when you reject or withdraw permission, or when the site detects that your consent has expired. You can also clear it in your browser.

Not every entry appears on every visit. Sign-in storage relates to account use, and Radar preferences relate to the controls you use. Your browser's site-data settings show which entries are present and the expiry assigned to each cookie.

Services our pages use

Loading a resource from another provider sends that provider a network request, which includes information such as your IP address and browser details. These services have their own privacy practices.

Netlify: hosting, forms and sign-in

Netlify delivers the website and processes requests to its forms, functions and account service. Pages with account features load a copy of the Netlify Identity widget from StudyIntel's own domain. The widget can restore an existing session when a page opens. Sign-in is essential functionality and is not disabled by rejecting optional features. Hosting and security logs are separate from cookies. Netlify privacy policy.

Google Fonts: typography

Only after you allow Google Fonts do StudyIntel pages request font styles and files from fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com. Google receives information including your IP address and browser details. If you reject this option, the site uses fonts already available on your device. Turning it off removes the external font stylesheets; it cannot undo requests already made or erase the provider's records. Google privacy policy.

PDF software served by StudyIntel

The Brief page loads a copy of the jsPDF library from StudyIntel's own domain to prepare PDF downloads in your browser. It does not request that script from an external CDN.

Stripe: checkout

When you choose to purchase a paid plan, StudyIntel directs you to Stripe-hosted checkout. Stripe may use cookies and similar technologies on its checkout pages for payment processing, security and other purposes described in its policy. Those pages are separate from the StudyIntel pages covered by the inventory above. Stripe cookies policy.

How to manage your site data

On your first visit, choose Accept all, Reject optional or Manage preferences. In preferences, select Radar storage and Google Fonts separately, then choose Save preferences. Closing preferences without saving, scrolling or continuing to browse does not give consent.

Use Cookie settings at the bottom of any page to reopen these controls. Rejecting or switching off Radar preferences removes the saved filters and display mode from this browser. Your current filters still work for the current page. Choices apply to this browser and domain, not automatically to your other devices or Stripe checkout.

You can browse public pages without signing in. Clearing StudyIntel's browser storage does not delete your account, submitted forms, site profile or subscription. Contact us if you need help with those records.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page when our use of cookies, browser storage or external services changes. If we introduce optional analytics or advertising tracking, we will explain its purpose and providers and request consent before enabling it. Continuing to browse will not be treated as consent to that tracking.
